#20: Movement, Mindset & Making Sh*it Happen with James Tatham

This week’s interview is with James Tatham, a Sport and Exercise Scientist and all-round top bloke who works as a Strength and Conditioning Coach developing youth athletes with Volleyball Australia & Tennis Australia at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.

James started a philanthropic journey in 2015 following the Nepal earthquakes, founding Trekking4Nepal and raising $30,000 to complete community projects in Nepal.

James is obsessed with golf, high altitude trekking and immersion meditation as they all give him an opportunity to learn about the human condition.

In this episode we talk all about exercise, hiking and discipline, and James’ experience in Nepal.

Here’s what we cover:

  • Why recovery is just as important as exercise

  • How to reach your goals in fitness and in life

  • James’ experience in Nepal — hiking and raising money for post-earthquake recovery
