#125: A Simple, Root Cause Approach to Low Iron

So many of us are deficient in iron - it’s estimated that 15% of women have anaemia, which is a condition in which the number of red blood cells or the haemoglobin concentration within them is lower than normal, with iron deficiency being the main cause.

People often just go straight to supplementation, without addressing the root cause of the iron deficiency.

Which means that months or years down the track, iron deficiency continues to arise.

In this episode, I cover:

  • The two main factors at the root cause of iron deficiency

  • How to support iron levels through food and supplementation

  • Why stomach acid is crucial for supporting iron levels
