How long before trying to conceive should you start preparing? The sooner the better. We advise 3 months at a minimum, and ideally around 12 months.

Andisha Butterfield, Functional Nutritionist & Registered Nurse

My passion for functional nutrition became personal after enduring the emotional rollercoaster of IVF. Being blessed with two children through IVF shifted my passion to the root cause of why I was unable to conceive naturally, and I was determined to support their health and wellbeing through the power of nutrition.

I worked in clinical medicine as a registered nurse for over 20 years. Although I respect the power of conventional medicine to treat disease and save lives, I began to think more about the root causes of the chronic health issues we are presented with today. Soon I recognised the powerful relationship between food and my own health and wellness.​

While my passion is functional nutrition, I am most proud of my titles of mum and wife. I have a boy and girl, a golden retriever, and a loving, patient and ultra-supportive husband. I choose to be fully invested in these relationships, and I recognise that my ability to achieve these is very dependent on my own mental health, energy and overall health.

Wellness starts from within. I’m a firm believer that one of the best things you can do to live a healthier life, is to change how you fuel your body with food.​

What’s next? 

Step 1. Purchase your package. 

Step 2. Book your Initial Consultation — if you have trouble finding a time that suits, please contact us via email on andisha@frandargaville.com.

Step 3. Before our first session, we will send you some forms to complete. These will take 20-30 mins to complete, and ensure we have all the info needed to best support you so we can get straight into the good stuff in your first session.

Step 4. We will have our Initial Consultation via video call or over the phone. In this session, we take a deep dive into your current symptoms, daily nutrition and lifestyle habits, and health history, along with any mindset blocks you may have. Based on this, we may recommend functional lab tests to help get to the root cause of any symptoms, identify nutritional deficiencies and best support you.

After your session, you’ll receive your comprehensive and personalised protocol detailing specific dietary, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations to get your started on your holistic fertility and pregnancy journey.

Step 5. You’ll be supported for the duration of your program, with two Follow Up Consultations, online messaging support in between sessions, and updated protocols as needed.

Step 6. Once you get to the end of your 2 months, you have the option to book Follow Up Consultations on an as-needed basis, or opt for one of our ongoing support packages.
